JaM learn through play - web 2.0 programme

This programme is designed for you to get a handle on some popular free web 2.0 tools and get you thinking as to how you could use them.


Things to do
Choose one of the things (or small exercises) from the list below that you want to learn more about. Click on the link to find out what to do. Allow 30 minutes to play and then try another thing.


Thing 1:
Set up your own blog and write your first post.

Thing 2: Choose a
social networking site you'd like to learn more about such as LinkedIn, Bebo, MySpace or FaceBook.

Thing 3.
Explore Flickr and learn about this popular online photo sharing site.

Thing 4. Find out how to
tweet using twitter.

Thing 5. Learn about tagging and discover Del.icio.us (a social bookmarking site that can categorise your favourite websites)

Thing 6. Add an item on the
PBwiki and find out more about them.

Thing 7. Create a presentation using Slideshare to collaborate with others.
